MLB Wine for Charity

Boston Red Sox star's Curt Schilling, Manny Ramirez, and Tim Wakefield have teamed up with Charity Wines, the philanthropic arm of Winchendon wine wholesaler VinLozano Imports, to create 3 new wine labels with proceeds benefiting their charity of choice. The cleverly labeled wines are:

"Schilling Schardonnay" - 2006 Chardonnay, Lontue Valley, Chile
Benefiting Curt's Pitch for ALS

"Manny Being Merlot" - 2005 Merlot, Lontue Valley, Chile
Benefiting the CHARLEE Program


"CaberKnuckle" - 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, Lontue Valley, Chile
Benefiting Pitching In For Kids

It's nice to see MLB and the MLBPA finding a unique way to spread their own brand and raise money for very deserving charities. Looking forward to trying these out this summer.
