The [screw] cap is coming

In the Nielsen Company's annual snapshot of the retail beverage alcohol market, they have listed screw caps growth at a sizzling 24.6% growth and accounted for 4% of all 750ml table wine sales. Of course, when you only have a very small share of a specific market, then you only have room to grow but in this case it looks like screw caps are becoming more popular. The bring your own bottle restaurants and picnics are the best Some wineries that are putting a twist on their bottles are Caymus, Jim Barry, Kim Crawford, Mšnchhof, Sonoma-Cutrer and Yalumba. I have a feeling there will be a lot more wines turning to the screw cap in the future.
